Well, they call me Silje, there ain't no special nickname!

You have been snowboarding now for over 12 years, do you have a favorite snowspot?
Oh yes, the best spot for me is Breckenridge in Colorado, North America.

Colorado? Sounds great to me. Silje, who or what inspires you?
Ohm, let me think about that. The fun of snowboarding is one of the most inspiring things to me. To look at people learning and having fun in the snow is just so motivating.

If you could pick three snowboarders, dead or alive, to go snowboarding with.
Who would they be and where would you go to?
Oh I would definitely pick Lisa Wiik, Kjersti  Buaas and Aimee Fuller to go backcountry riding with them. They always have a lot of fun, I'd enjoy our time together.

I'm sure you four would have some amazing runs in the backcountry. Which board do you prefer the most?
The K2 Fling is a great snowboard.

Fine, but back to the future, are there some special achievements for 2012?
With getting on podium at the European X-GAMES and the US open I reached my goals for 2011. I wanted to have a lot of fun and achieve some good results. My wishes came true, I've been having fun all season and got some good results in the end too, so I'm happy. But I'll still keep working on my snowboarding skills to achieve my new goals for 2012.

Oh no, I just have fun in life and see what it brings on to me.
