Salut Elodie, how do your friends call you?
Oh, my friends call me „Little Tahiti“.

You have been surfing since 2003, do you have a favorite surfspot?
Well, my home breaks. But they are secret!

Ok, and to surf your secret spots, which is your favorite board-shape you prefer?
I prefer a 5'8 JS.

Elodie, who or what inspires you?
Especially my optimistic mother, my friends and some local surfers, for instance Hira or Michel inspire me a lot. They all represent well who tahitians are, strong and kind people!

If you had to pick two surfers, dead or alive, to go surf with. Who would they be and where would you go?
I would definitely go surfing with Malik Joyeux and Kelly Slater to Malik's home spot in Moorea.

That is an interesting decision, I am sure you three would have a great time with amazing surfing sessions. By the way, which is the best city on earth and why?
Well, my home island isn't really a city but Tahiti or our sister island more would be where i'd like to settle later. Because of our people, the waves and nature. But a good compromise to the islands is Sydney in Eastern Australia. I live there right now, its a good balance.

Fine, do you have your own way of life? If yes, what is it?
I grew up having the ocean as my playground and I cannot imagine my life away from it. Right now I'm a student, so i put all my energy into education and surfing. I try to stay healthy, mind and body! Where i come from, we are people living off simple things and we love fish. But besides fish, I also eat heaps of fruits. Finally I can say, I'm not a city person.
