You have been surfing since 2004, do you have a favorite surfspot?
I love the spots around Biarritz like Lafitenia etc. But every time when I`m on the road I find new great waves so my so my favorite spot is always the one around the next corner. The best training location is Fuerteventura because the weather is always warm. Here I can train downwinders on the raceboard and rip the waves when they are good.

Which is your favorite board?
Fanatic ProWave LTD 7.6 because it`s really fast and agile.

Alena, who or what inspires you?
My Family, inspires me. They are the strongest people I ever met. My passion is SUP surfing of course, and  the ocean himself, I´m really interested in study Biology so I can hopefully help the ocean to survive some of the human mistakes.

If you had to pick two surfers, dead or alive, to go surf with. Who would they be and where would you go?
With Honolua Blomfield and Jordy Smith to a nice, warm uncrowded right

Which is the best city on earth and why?

I`m not sure, I have not seen enough of the world yet. But definitely somewhere at sea where you only need a 3.2 wetsuit in the winter and a lot of sunscreen.

Do you have your own way of life?

I learned that it is not natural to travel around the world and to experience new things every day. Be aware of this and do not worry too much about the unimportant things in life.

What do you want to achieve next? Goals for 2018?

I really want to improve my SUP surfing and Surfing. Also, I really want to see some new places. At the European Championships I would like to come to the podium. Last year I took fourth place so scarcely missed 🙂 At the Worldchampionships I want to get as much Points for the Team as possible.

One quote about SWOX. What do you think about SWOX? How did you get to know the company?

I think I got a tube from the ISPO. I tried it and liked it right away. Nothings sucks more than sunscreen in the eyes and slippery fingers when a nice set comes in. Doesn´t happen with SWOX anymore. I’m so happy to be here and bring your idea and your product closer to other athletes.
