Do you follow a special way of life?
I just like to be open for new things, to play to discover and to enjoy what I am doing.

Flow, who or what inspires you?
I like the idea of progress, to get better, to reach my goals and improve my skills in all kind of aspects. Being a better, surfer, a better dad, husband or friend. I think that’s what makes life so interesting and to always find ways to improve and grow with new challenges.

If you had to pick two surfers, dead or alive, to go surf with. Who would they be and where would you go?
I would take Kai Lenny and his toys to go from Jaws to foil surf some chops along the coast of Maui. The other one would be a lesson with Muhammad Ail about getting an extra load of willpower and discipline. 

Which is the best city on earth?
I like Cape Town so much because it offers so much possibilities. You have a beautiful city, you can surf awesome waves and meet interesting people from all kinds of background.

What are your goals for 2020? What do you want to achieve next?
My Goals for 2020 depend a bit of Corona. But in general I just want to improve my time on the water. I also want to produce an inspiring movie, that hopefully lead to more conscious how we treat out planet.

I guess I am part of the SWOX family since the early beginning. The fresh smell of SWOX sun cream is part of my daily routine every morning before I enter the water. I also like the sustainable concept and passion of the people that started this company with the intention not only make better products but to have a positive impact for our planet.
