Melodie, who or what inspires you?
Who: Kai Lenny, the water man from Hawaii, and not only that, he`s also a 4 in 1, kiteboarding, SUP, windsurfing and surfing! Also I have to say that my Family supports me and inspires me every day. What inspires you: The ocean, surfing, kiteboarding, music, photography.

If you had to pick two surfers, dead or alive, to go surf with.
Who would they be and where would you go?
Bethany Hamilton and Kelly slater, a surf trip to all the best places to surf in the world: Hawaii, Australia, France… anywhere!

Which is the best city / region on earth and why?
Even though I haven´t been there, I think it would be the Gold Coast, Australia. Because it´s so close to all the spots!

Do you have your own way of life? What do you want to achieve next?
Live the good life, good waves, good surf, good food, good training, good studies and always have a good feeling about it! In the last years I’ve been to Hawaii for training and filming, then went to some National events and qualified for Spanish Champs and the Europeans. True is that I’ve been out of the surf sceen for the past 4 years due to studying ‘Engineer in Industrial Design’ and I have just finished my studies and feel like a free girl to do everything I can. I was in Patagonia, Argentina filiming for a ‘Docureallity’ for a month for a new tv show called ‘El Puente’; ‘The Bridge’ and is airing at the minute in the Spanish channel Movistar +. After this experience I think I would like to try to get in to the filming and movie world, but still be the Irish/German/Canarian Surfgirl.
