What has been the most defining moment in your athletic career so far?

The most defining moment in my athletic career was when I got my first sponsors. It was a real turning point for me because it allowed me to pursue my passion much more intensely and professionally. It was an incredible feeling to have all the hard work and passion I put into the sport recognized, and to have the opportunity to continue pursuing my dream of making sport my career. This sense of freedom, traveling, and meeting new people has shaped my life more than anything else.

How do you approach mental preparation for competitions and high-performance moments?

For me, mental preparation is just as important as physical preparation. I use visualization techniques where I imagine myself being successful and overcoming challenges. I also focus on positive self-talk and try to stay focused to minimize nervousness and doubt

If you had to describe your athletic philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?

I believe that continuous hard work, passion, and belief in oneself are the key to success .

What does an ideal training day look like for you?

I get up early, have a relaxed breakfast, and take my dog for a walk. After that, I prefer to be on the mountain as early as possible because the conditions are best at that time. I usually head back down after about four hours and spend the rest of the day relaxing to recharge for the next few days. Stretching, fitness, and healthy eating are also important to me. The older I get, the more I have to focus on it

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received regarding sports and resilience?

Even in the toughest moments, don't give up. Setbacks are just an opportunity to become stronger and better.

If you could train or compete anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Austria is actually the perfect place for it. Absolutpark is ideal for park riding, and when we have snow, there are so many opportunities for powder riding. Plus, with our glaciers, we have the chance to be on snow almost year-round. If I could choose other places with snow, Japan, Switzerland and California would definitely be at the top of the list.

What do you think about SWOX?
Honestly my girlfriend had the idea to work with SWOX and now I am happy and stoked to be a part of it! Best sunscreen for me!
