It was really (NO shit) a whole new experience.

Who or what inspires you? What is your passion in life?
In endurance sports my top 5 athletes are Ryan Sandes, Jim Wamsley, Tommy Rives, Paul Capes and Courtney Dauwalter inspires me the most. For me it is impressive to see how they incorporate current issues like the environment, global warming or Covid-19 into their projects.

Do you follow a special way of life?
I would just say I am Runner, Mover and Dreamer.

Best city/place to live on earth and why?
Capetown. For me it is the best you have City and Nature at the same time.

If you could pick two athletes (dead or alive) to go run / train with, who would they be and where would you go?
I would like to spend a few weeks with the whole “Cappuccino Cowboys Crew” in the US.

What are your goals for 2020? What do you want to achieve next?
My goal was to have a really good race at the TorTourdeRuhr (230km non-stop) in 2020 and to run in the Top 5 again- unfortunately the run was canceled. I think I will start some running projects over 100km in Germany and hopefully run some new FKTs. In autumn I will participate in my first backyard ultra run- let’s see how this running formate is for me.

Is there something more you want to tell us?
Running makes me happy- FOR FREE. So, get out there and run too.

One quote about SWOX. What do you think about SWOX? How did you get to know the company?
I’ve known Max, the founder of SWOX for quite a while and I’ve always given him the feedback that on long runs in the heat I need sunscreen, but I don’t really use any- because I have the feeling my skin can’t breathe. He gave me the SWOX Sunset Lotion and for me it was really (without shit) a whole new experience. Since then I am a big SWOX fan – #staygold
